Passenger Princess - in 3D

In this behind-the-scenes video, I delve into the intricate process of transforming my Passenger Princess photo series into a captivating 3D sculpture piece series. The video captures the method of deconstructing Polaroids, carefully removing the emulsions to integrate them into the artwork.

Each emulsion is meticulously placed on the back of custom resin-printed topographic maps, which I printed using and Elegoo resing printer and clear resin. These maps hold significant meaning as each one corresponds to the specific location where the original image was captured. This approach not only adds depth to the visual experience but also creates a tangible connection between the photograph and its geographical context.

The fusion of photography and tactile elements in this series reflects my exploration of memory and place, bridging the gap between two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms.
